In an interview of Gareth David-Lloyd (who Ianto Jones) about torchwood He talk about James too :
heard that you and James Marsters got along very well.
Yes, absolutely yeah. We got on really well. We have similar sort of political and philosophical ideals, I think. And musically, we get on really well...I think it was the music that sort of started us talking and we've been great mates ever since.

And you played a gig together?
Yeah, that's when our blues band formed. I was promoting a band called Disgraceland over here and I did the odd bit of singing from time to time. But when James asked after I got up and did a song with him whether I'd like to support him at his next gig in Cardiff, I was over the moon but of course I had to get a band together so I went and asked a favor from the guys in the band I was promoting aad a few of them said yes and then Blue Gillespe was formed. more from zap2it

Dragonball Z filming_updated

From dragonballmovieblog A quote from Eriko Tamura's Blod translated in English language. She talk about some scenes shooting with James :

Quote_It was sunny and bright in the morning, but the weather in the mountains is unpredictable. It started to get windy and it started to rain all of a sudden while we were filming.
The rain eventually stopped so James and I went on top of a big rock again and continued the scene.
Working with James Marsters has been a wonderful experience to me.. he is such a nice guy yet he can play a great villain. I'd like to learn from him playing a good villain.

From dragonballmovieblog Scheduling is underway for a set visit from the press to be held as early as next week. If true, expect lengthy set reports from major movie sites and magazines in the coming months.

Yessssssssssss finally we 'll got some news :)

Scenes with James

Good morning! I just came back to my tailer. We were filming a scene with Piccolo and Mai earlier this morning. The fishes looked real and they were actually moving! I was stunned at first.
James and I would improvise as usual staying in the character before we hear Jim says "Action!"
I feel so lucky that in a lot of scenes I am with James. He has been a big help on set. He would explains to me things that are new to me, as well as all the technical terms that are used here on the set.
A lot of things are different from filming in Japan. I still have a lot to learn and I feel grateful that Jim, the producers, and the crew are all very understanding.

Q-A February

What makes you sentimental?
My kids.

The handicap of our youth is the missing insight we gain in our later years. Shakespeare, though, lets younger characters hold monologues in which his own wisdom shines through. Man on a mission or vanity, what do you think?
I don’t think so. I think Shakespeare’s young people are impetuous and rash and maybe a reflection of his earlier self. We think of them as geniuses but that’s just because Shakespeare writes so damn well and you can’t ask him to stop doing that. But he doesn't look down on young people - some young people are quite smart.

How do you feel about luck?
Luck is everything, as the Chinese know. We think we control our destiny but it is horrifyingly random. Luck is everything, everything, everything. To get here, everyone of your ancestors had to survive long enough to mate – that’s lucky. 99% of the species born on this planet are extinct. You are part of the privileged lucky few that have survived.

What is the best thing and the worst thing about acting?
The worst thing is to have to wait around for people to create a job for you. Creatively that’s deadly. The best thing is getting all the credit for all the hard work that’s done on the set that you never even knew about when they finally do give you a job.

If you had to gain 30 pounds for a role, you'd eat…
Ice cream, fried chicken, pork ribs, chocolate.

Have you owned any pets since Zachary died? If so, what?
No I haven’t. I’m just not home very much. Maybe I'd get a cat. Continue...

Message from Steve Himber

From Steve wrote a message of James for all fans in occasion of Happy Valentine's Day.
In the absence of a very hard working Mr. Marsters, I thought I would carry on the tradition and give a shout out to everyone and wish you all a little heart Happy Valentines Day. James has told me that everything is going really well on the Dragonball set and that he's feeling great about his work and the work his fellow actors are doing. It's a pretty intense shoot for him because it not only requires him to engage his acting skills but is also a rather physical role. He sounds really happy... continue in official site

Happy Valentine's day everyone
