James talk about Dragonball

Thanks Stefy William for sharign this video

James talk about Dragonball movie , from CDS the transcription.

A woman: "If you can not comment on Dragonball, millions of people are waiting to see you painted green ...
James Marsters: "
The only thing I can say is… Dragon Ball, well Steve (producer) has been hinchando me all day with "quiet on Dragon Ball, do not say anything about Dragon Ball." Apparently, the 20th Century Fox will not let me tell you anything about a cartoon that appeared 15 years ago. But what I have to say about Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT, which is the most brilliant cartoon of the past 50 thousand years. When my son had the figures of action, I always liked Piccolo, the green subject, and you know, I would tell them, but I can not do that.

Steve tells me "be quiet!", But in a video store one can get the series and see it. But 20th Century has been very rare, but good, Piccolo is the most brilliant and the best character, I always liked, and what I thought five years ago and now I have the paper.

The unusual point is that when I had the audition, Piccolo is an old man and gets the areas of the dragon and becomes this great whaaa!, And ehmm…, I am small. Call my son and told him: "The good news is that I am in a movie about Dragon Ball, but the news is rare that they want to do Piccolo, and not even make Piccolo, because hearing reeks, and not know if they could do so. And my son said to me "if… Dad, look you are great, I love you, but emm…, Piccolo is muscular." So I told him, do not worry, in the first movie Piccolo is an old man, that's all I can do, but in the other two arreglare me, we are going to sorprenderlos, I eat the world alive, it will be oh so kids great. "

Updated: source dragonballmovieblog

Movieland spoke to Christina Inman, the manager of Fox in Mexico, and she shared a few details about Dragonball.

- Release Date: April 8, 2009

- It can be taken as official and that date is set in stone.

- Sequels

- We will soon be addressing this hard and rush to finish the post-production of the first movie … Talk about second or third movies is premature.

- Trailer, website and official photos

-She tells me that it’s likely that the promotion of the film start the second half of this year, because they are preparing several things … But she says that the worry is that the first film is well.

-Teaser trailer-in “The Happening”

-On whether the teaser trailer could emerge in the movie “The Happening” (13/June/2008), she commented that targets are different, and the classification of this film will Shylaman does not help that you can build there, so would be another movie for release … But perhaps for those dates can be and have some teaser.

Thanks to Chelo248 for the translation!

Q_A March 2008

Q_A March 2008

How territorial are you?
I don’t like to admit this but I am extremely territorial. I never really thought about that. I must have people knock on my trailer, my bedroom is my sanctum sanctorum and if anyone kisses my girl I’ll kill them (not literally). I like to pretend that I’m a peaceful man. My peaceful act has worked for the past fifteen years.

What do you think the biggest all around human fault is?
That we see patterns that are not there. One of the best things about humans is we recognize patterns, so we get things like science, music, philosophy. One of the worst things is that we see patterns that are not there so we get things like racism, homophobia and Jerry Farwell.

Does theater allow for a lot of spontaneity, or do you find yourself hampered by the blocking in that regard?
There is a freedom in structure. Structure can seem like a straightjacket at first, blocking, beats, etc., but like a dancer or gymnast, once you master that structure you become free and can really fly.

I've noticed many of your songs have water/ocean references in your lyrics. Is this a subconsious thing that you're not that aware of, or is it a purposeful theme that represents something to you?
I noticed two years ago that I used the ocean as a metaphor a lot. In a weird way, I think of it as home.

If you could go back in time, what question would you most want to ask William Shakespeare?
(long silence) I don’t have any questions for Shakespeare. I think he lays it all out. He was so prolific and I think he explains himself well. I may be a bit too confident in this but I think I get the man. I think every play is saying that we as human beings all have a lot in common...continue

According to a french Dragonball blog, dragonballfilm, Piccolo will have demon henchman called “Fulum Assassins.” Apparently they will be able to regenerate (like Nameks) when they lose a part of their body. info and images here james marsters italian english community

Updated- Maybe the news, about 20th Century Fox has pushed back the studios' big screen Dragonball adaptation from August 15, 2008 to April 3, 2009, are just a rumor, Fox haven't made official this yet.

quote: Fox is updating its websites. By example, they have updated FoxLatina. A few days before they say that the movie will be delay, Dragonball has been ereased of the page Comingsoon. And today, I check, and Dragonball is again in the page, for august 2008. Somebody of the IMDB board says that delay was just a rumor. Fox never officially confirm the delay. So maybe...

And Hoycinema
report that, shootting in Durango are finished and party of 8 March has taken for celebrate that. But some scenes are previewed in L.A.

Source dragonballfilm.

According to a source of the Joker, the film was delayed because Fox missed time for special effects. But the film maybe will be pushed back only until December.

No Dragonball Movie this Year_ P.S. DVD

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! No Dragonball Movie this Year :(

20th Century Fox has pushed back the studios' big screen Dragonball adaptation from August 15, 2008 to April 3, 2009. On the old date, it was facing The International, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Tropic Thunder and Wild Child, while it is currently by itself on the new date.
and here too moviesonline

Some spoiler from Start spoiler
The webmaster of Dragonball the movie says he has had a mail of somebody of Wizard....
"Just a moment ago, I received scans (I can’t share, and I’d expect you to know why) of Wizard’s ‘revised’ issue. They were alerted about a week beforehand of the date change, and were shipped new images to host. As a teaser poster is not ready, but the prototype in the former issue (Chatwin, his back to us, our first amazing look at his hair and stature) wasn’t the first image the studio wanted out. So, it was swapped for two images and a few more interviews with the cast.
The first is Goku, his hair larger than expected and resembling the television show fiercely, watching from the sidelines at an Arena match. Curiously enough (and this was reported awhile back), a hot dog cart is in the background if you look hard enough. The next image is our first clear, sure-to-make-everyone-excited look at Piccolo. He’s texture is awesome, and in the picture he’s launching someone over him (*not Goku). An amazing publicity shot to release. FYI, this was also from the earlier issue as the studio had no problems showing us the first look at Piccolo...more from end spoiler

Last shootting for Dragonball

From hoycinema
Some of my sources have assured me that possibly next Friday March 8 or Saturday March 9 could end up shots of the film. Last week we had a rumor that February 29 was the last day of filming, but since I had no other source to confirm not comment, but it seems now that if next week eventually shots main Dragonball ... One source told me that from here will be the second unit to Tijuana, Baja California (Mexico) to make a few extra shots.

I believe that very soon we will have the desired Teaser from the film and some photos official. (I translate with google, so I dont' sure if it is right)
