I found this little curiosity, an "HK" graffiti artist, used James' face for one of his works , look here this photo was took in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Hey everybody, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and all other good wishes I may have missed this time of year. 2009 promises to be a great year - go Obama! I'm nervous and excited about Dragonball, from what I've seen I'm happy Was a great 2008: saw many of you around the world, kept busy working on cool projects. Be well, be good and look forward to more work and seeing some of you in 2009
from forbiddenplanet you can finally pre-order Torchwood: Wave 2 Action Figures: Captain John Hart Their Price is £8.99 but you have to add the shipment , for Italy is very expensive 24 £.
James is into the top 100 people of 2008 , very very good source
69. James Marsters. His guest stint as the rebellious, flirtatious Captain John added a spark to Torchwood's second season, and Smallville fans enjoyed his run as the evil Brainiac. When will the guy get a regular gig so his roles won't be such a rare delicacy?
When acting, is it a fine line between being over the top and being believable? No, it’s not a fine line it’s a glaring line. Even if you are one millimeter over, it’s glaring and you can feel the people around you on the set lose hope. The camera is completely unforgiving on that level.
Can you dance and if so, what kind of dance do you do most? What is dancing like for you? I love to dance. I started break dancing before they called it break dancing - they called it “get down” in the 70’s. I can also waltz, but I’m afraid the punk rock movement did a lot of damage to my dancing ability...
(Now I need to see absolutely, I want see James does break dance PLEASEEEEEEEEEE ;))
What do you keep putting off for another day? Hmmm... Cleaning out the boxes underneath my desk and cleaning out the garage, but none of that crap is mine!!
What do you feel you know most about? I am just coming to learn that I don’t know much about anything. more...

James has recently voiced an episode for the Clone Wars series that airs on the Cartoon Network and we just now got word that his episode will air tomorrow night, December 5 at 9pm Eastern Time.
Note: For those of you on the Dish Network, apparently it will only air on the east coast.
There is an interview of James about this series :
James Marsters Talks Clone Wars As Spike (AKA William the Bloody) on the hit TV shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, and as Captain John Hart on Torchwood and Milton Fine on Smallville, actor James Marsters has a talent for playing anti-heroes and witty villains you can't quite figure out until it's too late. As Captain Argyus on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Marsters again portrays a character who may not be all that he seems. Argyus appears in "Cloak of Darkness", the ninth episode of the series, airing on December 5th on Cartoon Network.
StarWars.com chats with Marsters about Captain Argyus, his childhood memories of Star Wars and why his proud to play so many roles in the sci-fi/fantasy realm.
How did the character of Captain Argyus come your way? more here ...
James Marsters joins Star Wars - but not as Anakin Skywalker
In an interview with StarWars.com (yeah, I go there) former Buffy the Vampire Slayer baddie James Marsters talks about his new character, Captain Argyus, who he voices on tonight's ep of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. But, here's the interesting news: Marsters says George Lucas once considered him for the role of Anakin Skywalker for the Star Wars prequel films.
"When George Lucas was casting The Phantom Menace he, for one day maybe, considered me for the role of Anakin Skywalker and possibly found that I was too old," Marsters told StarWars.com...more
There are some rumors in this days about a new role for James for a tv movie "Alien Western" .James plays an outlaw who escapes death thanks to some dangerous .Principal photography this week in Romania. More in these article: --io9.com
James will be doing a full day event Sunday, February 15, 2008 (Valentines Day weekend!) The event will have a limited capacity of 150 to keep it intimate and manageable and will run throughout the day and evening. It will be held in the Newark NJ area (specific details will be posted with ticket sales). We will post a 24 hour notice prior to the live site being activated. More to come...
I don't speak Spanish but It's very similar to Italian language so if I understood right, He says that was a very difficult work because He have to characterize the characters in a different mode for a movie though have to keep the core original manga.
source Official site WE got a new message from Steve Himber, manager of James. He give us some good news ,I'm very happy to know James, Steve and their family are safe.
A big thank you for all of you who have checked in about the wildfires in California. I'm happy to assure everyone that James and his family are safe, as are mine. These wildfires are indeed a horrible tragedy and they hit awfully close to home. Neither James or I live in a mountain region in Los Angeles and that thankfully buffers us from these tragedies you see on the news.
Spoiler for Smallville new season:please highlight in order to show the text Many of you have also asked whether or not the voice you heard on the latest episode of Smallville was James'? Yes, indeed it was. The producers asked us to please not mention it in advance as they wanted it to have an element of surprise. Sorry for the spoiler for those of you who don't live in the US and will see it later.
Lastly, as James mentioned in his last message, I am indeed working on an event for him for the beginning of 2009. If all goes smoothly, the event will take place on the weekend of February 14th (Yup - Valentines weekend and Presidents Day weekend - I can only imagine what he'll talk about!). I tell you this now, not to act as a tease but so that those of you who might want to attend can plan to keep that weekend free. I anticipate being able to post all the official details about venue, tickets, etc just before Thanksgiving so keep an eye out.
I hope this finds everyone healthy and safe and settling in towards the madness of the holidays.
Peace, Steve

from Jamesmarsters.comHow long do you usually spend thinking about the things you are going to do? Are you impulsive or do you like to think things out first? I’m in between. I used to be very impulsive and now I do think ahead, but I’m still rather impulsive and I love unstructured time.
Is envy a form of acknowledgement? Yes. But it’s a form I’d like to avoid.
What sorts of roles do you see yourself playing--or do you see attracting you--as you get older? I would like to play rock stars, physicists, ummm, spacemen, poets and psychotic judges. Or maybe just the dad.
How long does it take you to get ready in the mornings? 43 – 46 minutes.
Name at least one thing you don't want to end. The Greenland ice sheet...
Tv guide made a list about favourite TV and Movie Vampires, I understand this is the moment of Twilight ,but insert put Spike like fourth and don't insert Angel...disagree with pride. And I put this...
I noted that many people have created own accounts for to go into our gallery,in this last month, but someone never got to gone, so, let me know if there are some problem about the access please. Write me by email or comment this post please.
p.s. you don't need an confirmation email, you have to complete the form, and when I'll see your request I'll give you the access. I accepted all the request at this moment.
Congratulations everyone on a peaceful election. Looking forward to a peaceful transition of power. I being myself am on cloud nine. Looking forward to talking with everyone about why we have so much reason for hope. I mean, Robert Kennedy Jr in the cabinet!!!!!
I just finished reading two books on tape which are part of the Dresden series. They contracted me to read a total of 6 between now and next year. I'm leaving to film a new project through December. I'll tell you more when Steve gives me the okay.
I just gave Steve the go ahead to plan something before I have to leave for a worldwide press tour in 2009 for DragonBall, so there's another announcement to look forward to shortly if it all works out.
from aintitcool.com A good review about Dragonball. This is the part about James and his role:
2) James Marsters as Picollo was awesome. He was perfect as picollo. Very mean and a villain that makes you say fuck ya kick all their asses. Oh and Picollo transforms into a light greenish color picollo towards the end of the movie.
thanks to JamesMyhero for let me know about this article.
and We got too a first clip, thanks to dbthemovie.com that let we know The TV program NHK special in Japan aired a very short clip about Dragonball, but no James into it
My uncle told me that it was better to learn to play guitar by ear instead of learning from a book. What's your opinion on that? I think you should use both and avail yourself to use tablature or “tabs” which is a way to read music without having to read music. Also, tabs are available on the internet for free! Just type in the name of the song and tabs.
In one word, what best describes your personality in everyday life? Considered.
You’ve been acting since you were a kid. Does acting make it easier or harder to really know yourself? Much easier. One thing I enjoy about actors is that they are non-judgmental about the differences and weirdnesses that we all share. Acting forces you to admit that you could be evil or good or courageous or petty, depending on your choice.
What should you have done sooner? Come to Los Angeles. more...
Source dragonball.zeldac.com This site received an email from FOX that ask to remove the trailer, Fox explained that the trailer on the net isn't the final trailer, just an example used for potential Licensing & Merchandising partners. Fox said the official trailer will be out at the end of this year, not in October with Max Payne movie. Seem really strange to me that FOx didn't imagine that trailer would be gone on the net. maybe Is It a publicist' strategy for, to become us fan more impatient and excitable ? If it is, It work.I can't wait. Just my opinion.
10/10/08 ------------------------------- thedragonballmovies.com got an interview about Dragoball with FOX. They said that promotion will truly begin when we launch the official trailer, from the end of the year and will be promoted at many targeted events in 2009.There is no news on a sequel just yet. They tend to wait out and see how the initial film does and if sequels can be financed.
dbthemovie.com Got an accurate description about some promotional photos, in some they talk about Piccolo:
In all the photos of Piccolo I’ve seen so far, he isn’t green. But in the details ones he looks like he has moss forming in his crevices, so he does have a green tinge.
Over his ribbed armor, Piccolo wears a full length hooded cloak, which is the dark browny crimson color as seen in the trailer. It has a rich texture, it looks very exotic and has rows of Sequined circles up the front panels. Extremely nice and billowy.
When Piccolo does swirly things it is revealed that he has striped panels of dark velvety pink at the back of his cloak.
Overall, I’d say he looks like a modern, darker version of Piccolo from the show. But with a bad case of black ear wax and a much better cloak.

Source hoycinema We got finally the trailer of Dragonball,it'a a video filmed on Brand Licensing Europe 2008 the quality is not so good, but We can be happy anyway. If I dont' wrong I see Piccolo make an acrobatics on air wowwwww I CAN WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE
Question: Thank you for the spoilers from Smallville. Got anything new? -- Sue Ausiello: Details are emerging on the blockbuster November sweeps two-parter (episodes 10 and 11) and they're so tantalizing that even I'm tempted to watch. Following Chloe's wedding to Jimmy, Brainiac slowly starts taking over Chloe's body. By episode 11, he has taken complete possession of her. And that, my friends, is just the tip of the iceberg.
Dragonball- A guy posted a comment into imdb board and said He saw a preview of Dragonball. He talked about that.
That said a few of the actors fit their roles perfectly, Emmy Rossum, James Marsters & Jamie Chung were awesome.
From jamesmarsters.com A new screencaps of James as Buzz Aldrin in Moonshot, a docudrama produced by Dangerous Films for ITV and the History Channel. Scheduled for release in 2009. In occasion of fortieth anniversary of the landing on the moon. In James' official site you can see the pictures in medium resolution.
Source dragonballfilm.esMTV movies blog made an interview at Emmy Rossum about Dragonball. She talked about her role and a little spoiler about Piccolo:
Possibly the most interesting tease she offered up was her anticipation of not only seeing “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum James Marsters appear on screen in his role as Lord Piccolo, but also “an incredible monster that I can’t talk about that is very, very tall.”
“It’s actually a very tall man — an 8-foot man,” she added. “It’s based on something else from the… You know, I can’t really say anything else.”
Great to see everybody at Dragon Con. I more and more want my own costume! I hope my guitar survives longer so Gareth and I can sing for you all next time.
Buffy and Spike's "bring down the house" sex scene was recently voted TV Guide's number one hot scene in television history. Your opinion on that? It was pretty fun! My memory of it was that the stunt coordinator took 50 lbs of pointed metal to the face that night, so we all ended up in the hospital at the end of that night. What bores you? Local television news.
What is on your refrigerator door? I’ll go check (he laughs)...there’s nothing on the refrigerator door here. My nanny doesn’t want us to blemish it.
After playing and performing a song multiple times, does it become routine? Or do you find yourself being drawn back to the situation that inspired the song and begin to feel the emotions all over again? I feel it all over again. I have to be careful not to get teary eyed – it's terrible for the voice. Continue ...jamesmarsters.com
Source dragonballfilm.es Edward French published in his site some pictures about Piccolo and James during the makeup. He announced too that HE'll publish all the photos about the makeup step by step.
IGN: What was it like working with your costars in Dragonball?
Chung: They're brilliant actors. Emmy, only being 21, is an absolute pro. She knows what she's doing, she's absolutely gorgeous – she's stunning. And she's dedicated. I was in awe of her beauty. James Marsters has a huge following, but he's so down to Earth. He's a method actor and he's fantastic. He's the perfect Piccolo. I know they won't show it to you, but the makeup they did and the mask took three hours to do, and he looks insane. They were very picky and particular on how he was going to look. Justin Chatwin is a pro. Not only does he fit the character internally -- he has Goku's essence -- but he looks like a cartoon character! With his big, blue eyes, he looks like Japanese anime!
WOW! Finally We got some immages from Dragonball with PICCOLO. Site nerdorama has some captures of the trailer of Dragonball, foreseen for 17 October. In this captures James like Piccolo, very very fabulous.
FIRST DAY August 29 - The Dragoncon 2008 started today and We got some pictures and report already. James is wearing blue jeans and a red Bayen Munich football t-shirt (really don't like me so much, who knows why He wears that t-shirt. He is a fan maybe.) He looks fine and in good mood. The news for this moment are: - James confirmed that Productor of Torchwood hasn't called him yet and the same for Smallville too. (bad bad news)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECOND DAY. August 30 -
REPORT:This second day was very intense for that I read in some report. Stephen Let know to us that James made a new song -On the Moon- and played with a new guitar called "Pancho." All fan had a great time at the convention and at the party in particular. Thanks to all for sharing your experience.

ComingSoon.net has learned that 20th Century Fox will debut the first trailer for Dragonball in theaters on October 17 with the studio's video game adaptation Max Payne, starring Mark Wahlberg.
James wrote a message of greeting for us fans on his official siteI had a fabulous birthday. Thank you everyone for all the cards, letters, gifts and e-mails. I know it’s going to be a really good year and I hope to see you all soon.
Good news about James, He won two awards. Great JAMES.
Syfy Genre Awards 2008
James Marsters won this category BEST SPECIAL GUEST/Television * 2008 - James Marsters, "Exit Wounds," Torchwood BEST SPECIAL GUEST/Television
Kryptonsite Awards 2008
Best Guest Star
Smallville fans aren't the only people who love James Marsters.

He still has a legion of fans from his work as "Spike" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and his performance as Captain John Hart on Torchwood got rave reviews. This multi-talented individual can call up the right mixture of humor and sarcasm while at the same time, he can play a character who is chillingly scary.
The news that Marsters would be returning to Smallville for Season 7 was greeted with great excitement, and although his arc may have been a little choppy due to the writers' strike, his guest shots were happily welcomed.
It should be no surprise that James Marsters swept the Best Guest Star With 3 Episodes Or More category with 69% of the 5,279 votes cast. Behind him at second place was Michael Cassidy as Grant Gabriel with only 16%.
Random top tens: American actors who can do proper English accents 1 GWYNETH PALTROW Reigning champion of cut-glass English, Paltrow has rocked the RP in such films as Sliding Doors, Emma and Possession. He also mastered a pukka Brit accent that wouldn't sound out of place in The Queen Vic.
